Architecture & engineering

Pursuits, proposals, and go/no-go decisions for architecture, engineering, and construction firms.

Business development in AEC runs on a spreadsheet of pursuits, a folder of old proposals, and a Monday meeting where everyone argues about which RFPs to chase. Due dates slip, the same SOQ gets rebuilt from scratch, and nobody can say what the firm's real win rate is.

These two apps cover the decisions that matter most: a pipeline board for every pursuit and a go/no-go scorecard that makes the Monday argument a number.

The workarounds we replace

Every one of these is a real scenario from an intake call.

The pursuit list is a spreadsheet

Ten tabs, three owners, and a due date column nobody sorts. Something gets missed every quarter.

Every proposal starts from zero

The last SOQ is in someone's downloads folder. The team rebuilds resumes and project sheets by hand.

Go/no-go by loudest voice

Decisions come from whoever argues hardest, so the firm chases work it shouldn't and misses work it should.

What the full build adds

Client collaboration portals: typically $20–32K, 9–13 weeks. Fixed price after discovery.

  • One pipeline for the whole team. Every pursuit, owner, and due date in one place the principals can open on Monday.
  • A proposal library. SOQs, resumes, and project sheets reused in minutes instead of rebuilt in days.
  • Go/no-go with sign-off. The scorecard routes to the right people and records who decided.
  • Calendar sync and reminders. Due dates land on everyone's calendar with reminders before they slip.
  • Win/loss reporting. Win rate by owner, market, and lead, so the firm learns from every pursuit.
  • CRM and email integration. Contacts and conversations connected to the pursuit they belong to.

Questions people ask

Do you build software specifically for architecture and engineering firms?

Yes. We built the platform behind BD-AEC, a fractional business development practice for the AEC market, and we build pursuit tracking, proposal libraries, and client portals for firms that want their BD process in one system.

Can the pursuit system connect to Deltek or our CRM?

Usually. If a tool can share data we can connect to it, and we confirm which integrations you need during discovery before we quote a fixed price.

Is the bid pipeline free for AEC firms?

Yes. It's a free, browser-only tracker with no account. It's the single-user version of the pursuit systems we build for firms with a BD team.

How does the go/no-go scorecard decide?

Each criterion is rated 1 to 5 and multiplied by its weight. A weighted score of 75% or higher reads Go, 55% to 74% reads Conditional, and below 55% reads No-go. The weights are yours to change.
