Ecommerce & retail
Online stores, boutiques, marketplace sellers. Know what each product earns, and never run out of what sells.
Most stores know their revenue to the dollar and their margin to the vibe. The product cost is in a supplier email, freight is in a different one, the marketplace fee comes out before you see it, and free shipping is a line nobody added up. Then a bestseller sells out on a Saturday because the count lived in a spreadsheet that was right two weeks ago.
These two apps put the two missing numbers in front of you. Price each product on what it really costs to sell, and plan reorders from how fast it actually moves.

Every one of these is a real scenario from an intake call.
The margin is a guess
Cost, freight, duties, packaging, processing, the marketplace cut, shipping, returns. Each lives somewhere else, so the real number per unit never gets computed.
The bestseller sold out
Two thousand SKUs across three warehouses, reconciled by hand for twelve hours a week, and the count is wrong again by Friday.
The reorder is a hunch
Someone eyeballs the shelf and orders a case. Too early ties up cash in stock; too late is a week of zero sales.
What the full system adds
Inventory & warehouse systems: typically $28–45K, 12–16 weeks. Fixed price after discovery.
- Barcode counts across locations. Scan to receive and count. Stock per shelf, stockroom, and warehouse, always current.
- Live velocity from your channels. Orders from your store, marketplaces, and register take stock down as they happen, so the pace is real.
- Reorder alerts and purchase orders. The system raises the alert, drafts the PO at the case pack, and receives it against the shipment.
- Margin on every SKU, always current. Landed cost and fees update as suppliers and prices change. You see what earns before you reorder it.
- Transfers and valuation. Move stock between locations and report what it's worth, by location, by month.
- QuickBooks sync. Purchases, cost of goods, and inventory value land in your books without retyping.
Questions people ask
Why build inventory software instead of using what my ecommerce platform includes?
Platform inventory counts what that platform sells. It doesn't know your stockroom, your register, your other marketplace, or your landed cost, so the number is right for one channel and wrong for the business. A custom system is the one count every channel reads from, with your margins and your suppliers built in.
How long does an inventory system take to build?
Typically 12 to 16 weeks: discovery and a fixed price first, then design, a private test site you use daily, and a launch with your existing counts migrated in. Connecting your store, marketplaces, and register, a supplier purchase-order workflow, and live landed cost per SKU are what push a build toward the top of the range, or past it.
Is the margin calculator free to use?
Yes, and there's no account to make. Every number stays in your browser. It's here so you can see what a pricing system built around your catalog would tell you before you talk to us.
How does the reorder planner calculate the reorder point?
Daily sales times the days you'd be waiting: lead time plus safety stock. When on hand plus anything on order falls to that level, it's time to order. The suggested quantity covers lead time, safety stock, and one order cycle, minus what you already have, rounded up to your case pack.
