Score the pursuit on six criteria and get a recommendation instead of a debate. Every decision stays in the log.
Go/No-Go scorecard
About the go/no-go scorecard
The go/no-go scorecard is a free decision tool for AEC business development. Rate a pursuit on client relationship, competitive position, capacity, strategic fit, profitability, and risk, each weighted, and get a Go, Conditional, or No-go recommendation with the score behind it. Decisions save to a log so you can look back at what the firm chased and why.
Saved in this browser only. The full build ties the scorecard to the pipeline, routes it to the principals for sign-off, and compares scores against actual outcomes so the weights improve over time.
- Name the pursuit and rate each of the six criteria from 1 to 5
- Adjust the weights to match how your firm decides
- Read the recommendation and save it to the log
- Review past decisions and your go rate
Questions people ask
How does the go/no-go scorecard decide?
Each criterion is rated 1 to 5 and multiplied by its weight. A weighted score of 75% or higher reads Go, 55% to 74% reads Conditional, and below 55% reads No-go. The weights are yours to change.
Can our principals sign off on a decision here?
Not in the free version, which is single-user by design. The full build routes each scorecard to the right people for sign-off and records who decided what.
